The Sahabah in the Arctics!

Alhamdulillah, teaching about Islam to young Muslims has a different taste in the Arctic North of Norway!

We spoke about the stories of the Sahabah (companions) , and I wondered to myself, what would these Sahabah feel when they are resurrected on the day of judgement, and find out that their name and story was mentioned in this extreme part of the world, 1400 years after their death?

How happy would they feel knowing that the hard work they have done for a few short years has lived on to be a legacy that inspires Muslims forever?

There are only 900+ Muslims living here, but imagine 50 or 100 years from now, what these young Muslims will do in this part of the world, when their children and grandchildren grow here and spread the teachings of Allah, and in a place with unusual prayer and fasting time, which they happily struggle to observe!

That's the beauty of Dawah! You plant a seed wherever you go in this world, and then watch that seed grow over the years. And while normal seeds may not grow in these weather conditions, the seed of Dawah always grows in any condition! Today I sadly leave straight after giving Friday Khutbah! :( Indeed, the best job in the world is the job of the messengers: Teaching about Allah. Alhamdulillah!
